Security Grade 2
Environmental Class 2
VIBRO is an intelligent Microprocessor controlled shock sensor. The sensitivity is automatically set in learn mode by the level of a recognised impact made to the protected area. The number of impacts i.e. Pulse count required to generate an alarm is determined by the number of recognised impacts made in learn mode. A non-volatile memory retains all programmed settings should the supply voltage be removed and subsequently restored.
For permanent perimeter protection (all modes), use Comfort Zone Type 26 or 22, which provides protection in Day, Night and Away Modes.
To make use of the LED latching when more than one Vibro is used on a single zone, see below:

VIBRO Latching Method with Comfort
The Optex Vibro has slightly differrent LED latching requirements to other inertia sensors on the market. Comfort default response 151 is setup to disturb the 12v power supply to the detector via Comfort terminal S12v, this will not work correctly with the vibro, so some modification is needed.
You should supply the vibro detector from the usual 12v terminals and not from the S12v terminal. Optex Vibro has extra input labelled 'MEM' and requires a +12v when the system is arming or is armed and then when the system is disarmed, the MEM input should dropped to 0v (approx). Comfort has a special action '90' alocated to switch the S12v terminal ON or OFF when used in a response. This should be connected to the MEM input of each Vibro that is sharing a zone with other detectors. The detector should have it's jumber selected for 'Normal Latch' and should be taken out of it's default 'Walktest' mode. The following table shows what adjustment is needed.

Change
Response 151 to contain just 90,1 which switches S12v
ON when arming. This will reset latched LED's on the vibro and also
'Prime' vibros so they will latch their LED ON if activated during
the armed modes. |

Response
77 is already set to operate when the system is disarmed.
Add the following actions into Response 77: 90,0 this will
switch the S12v OFF which is connected to the MEM input of the vibros. |
Comms Option
Additionally, you may also connect each vibro together using the comms
terminal on the vibro.
This provides a variety of LED indications such as showing 'first to alarm'.
