Photoelectric (Heat) - AC Powered Smoke Alarm With Battery Back-up, hush button and relay
base for connection to Comfort system. Designed to reduce common "nuisance"
alarms. An excellent choice for installations in or near kitchens, near fireplaces,
or in hallways directly outside bathrooms, utility rooms, or other areas prone
to steam. Can be interconnected with other Aico smoke alarms.
These are 240v AC heads but can connect to Comfort System when used with the
EI128R base(included) providing relay contact closures.
Product Labelling
The labelling for this product is slightly innacurate, It should read that the Relay Output is 'rated' at 250VAC / 5 Amps and is Isolated (Volts Free), thus it is suitable for connection to a Comfort fire zone input. It should not say that the Relay Output is 250VAC / 5 Amps which would obviously not be suitable for connection to a Comfort input.
