XM10E Two-Way X10 Interface for Comfort

The XM10E/TW7223 (240v - not suitable for PC connection) is a two-way X-10 interface Module and connects directly to the mains terminals within the Comfort Main Control Panel above the transformer. Signals from Comfort are passed along the RJ11 cable (TWLEAD) to the interface which in turn converts the code into X-10 commands which are then sent along the 230 VAC mains wiring to X-10 compatible devices around the property (providing they are on the same phase as the control panel). Maximum range is approximately 100m but is dependant upon site electrical conditions. Comfort can send any of the full 256 X10 address'. Always test a property for good X-10 transmission using the UR24/TM12U.

This module is 2-way and also allows Comfort to 'Receive' X10 codes and attach a response to them. This is available for 32 codes on the same House Code and enables X10 received commands sent from other controllers such as X10 radio devices such as the HR10, UR24, SS13 and KR22 which can be used to operate Comfort 'Responses'. This can be used to Arm the System or to operate Comfort's 12V outputs to drive relays, switching between cameras or sending infrared signals etc.

This module is ONLY suitable for linking with systems such as Comfort and cannot be used with a PC. In such instance a CM12U is required.
