Contacts are screwed to the door and frame, ensure that the gap between is no greater than 10mm. Normally Closed contact is across the silver screws, the brass screws are just used as junctions for the EOL resistors or tamper circuit. Do not install in damp locations, severe corrosion will result in weeks and can creep up the cable eating it away.

Comfort zones can be used to trigger a response when a zone opens or closes, this could switch and external light on when the door is opened and switch the light off when entering the property, etc.

Dimensions: 65 x 13.5 x 13mm. Contact opens when magnet moves 20mm away from the switch. Typical Comfort zone type for Entry Door is Type 2. For other immediate applications use Type 5.
